This Swan 68/007, was designed and built for a knowledgeable, racing oriented yachtsman. Great time and effort was spent in enhancing her performance, including input from America’s Cup expertise on her deck layout. “Splendid” incorporates many custom and special features - with her new custom carbon rig, refined under body, extended transom and versatile interior layout. “Splendid” has received continuous maintenance and upgrades. She appears in very good condition and benefits from a complete new rig October 2000.

The interior layout of “Splendid” was designed to maximize interior space and render a versatile yacht. There are 4 double cabins, each with a moulded head and shower and with ample ventilation. Additional crew accommodations for 2 are in the Forepeak area, with washbasin, and hanging locker.

Splendid's internal layout was designed to both increase space and to offer maximum flexibility of occupation. Due to her unique interior layout guests can enjoy complete privacy aboard as the galley and the crew quarters are both forward. Furthermore her interior of teak panelling is bright, modern, simple and classic.

Splendid's powerful and well-balanced carbon rig ensures that she can achieve the highest levels of performance, and comfort, whilst always remaining graceful under sail.
